I am working hard at making more batts and roving to sell. All my yarn is gone until December. I just washed up the last of the Shetland and sent it to the fiber mill to be spun into yarn. It takes about six to seven months for processing. So in the meantime I hope to have some spinning batts available. I am going again this year to Jefferson Farm tour and will be at the same place as last year.
We sheared all the ladies and gents June 10th. Their fleeces have been skirted, washed and sent off to be made into yarn. With all the dry pastures we have to move them from pasture to pasture about once a week. Still, they all look nice and healthy and are growing a new crop of wool.
